    Nintendo Frankness

I have to say I was shocked and bemused by Nintendo's frank reviews on their .com site

Aliasing is a problem, despite the fact that the GCN makes it easy for developers to smooth out jagged edges. The same murky palette was used for all tracks, with the result that even typically sunny tracks like Monaco look like they're suffering through an overcast English day. The rain animations look fake and the pit crews are robotic. Radio messages from your pit crew are bland.
Either the guy who wrote this has had his wife left him, or Nintendo don't know how to sell.

F12002- Just found it! Thats hilarious!

I don't understand the Nintendo site at times though. Is Nintendo Power an internal official magazine - or outside people given the official tag by Nintendo? What parts are written by Nintendo Power and which by NOA?

Suppose it all depends on that really. The site is a bit of a mess at times. Some "Descriptions" are reviews, when the review section is at the bottom. Whatever.

That's EAs F1 2002, I guess EA didn't rub people the right way with that one.

It's funny how this "review" sneaked through. Usually it is just corporate back of the box promotional drivel in the reviews on nintendo.com

I am impressed, still the frankness doesn't make me want to run out and buy it!
