I see your point but the Wii is capable of much more anyway. They were ropey and I agree. Not sure why it didn't have much polish...it definitely could of done with smoothing over.

Im pleased theres going to be a 2nd game. Wonder if the japanese version will be ridiculosly censored a second time around?, im not taking any chances though im going to get the us version.

Still need to get the us version of the first one, hmm wonder where the cheapest place to try is ?

"Taking place three years after the end of the first title, No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle sees hero Travis Touchdown embark on a mission of revenge following the murder of his best friend. Featuring improvements to the game engine and graphics, Suda51 also promises a far busier Santa Destroy, much darker tone and also a few surprises to come."

Was Travis Touchdown supposed to be likable in the first game? I know it was debated a bit and his was and acts like a bit of an ass but I liked him.

That's what I was thinking. The guy who runs the video shop round the corner from the No More Heroes motel.

He was supposed to be a bit of a creep, more of an anti-hero than hero.

This was the only aspect of the first game I didn't like. I thought the instant kill moves were cheap and I hope the sequel does away with them.

New Famitsu has scans (if you look, cant post link to or the scans themselves am afraird)
Famistu will have the exlcusive new trailer on the website, 30th May.

Story takes place three years after the first game.
Santa Destroy has been taken over by large corporations and has transformed the small town into a large bustling city.

Bishop Shidux, Travis' friend and owner of the local video store has gotten himself in trouble, prompting Travis to get back into action. Sylvia Christel also reappears into Travis' life around this time. New characters include Nathan Copeland, ranked 50th in the UAA, and a beam-weapon wielding school girl that's apparently related to Travis.

Dual-wielding saber action will be included and lots more new wrestling moves of course

When I watched the first trailer and saw that the title was "Desperate Struggle", I was almost certain that this would come out for the DS...

The frustrations of the first game prevent me getting too excited for this. Perhaps if they fix the '20 minute boss battles with instant kill moves in the last 5' I'll get more interested.
