    Tumbledrop - I made a game! :)

Please check out the game I have made! It's free, browser based, Mac + PC, but requires a plugin to be installed.

I'm working on a big updated version for release in a month or so, and I'd really appreciate any feedback that people have on the current version. If you have any ideas, or want to point out anything you especially like or dislike, that would definitely be helpful for me.

Also, my game is currently up for vote in a competition I entered. If you like my game I would appreciate if you could take time to vote for it HERE.

Congrats man, I'm full of admiration for anyone who takes on a challenge like this and sees it through to the end. I'll check it out tomorrow

Does the plugin support Firefox, or just IE? (Just says Windows on the download, I won't install it if it's for IE only). Thanks.

Supports everything except Google Chrome (which is in beta, so whatever)

Nice - just played it through. The obvious additions would be score tables and suchlike (though the game is not deterministic!)... see Fantastic Contraption.

Moreover, how did you find working with Unity3D?

Played this earlier - very impressive.

The only thing that I thought was slightly amiss is that it's not quite obvious when you first start the game that the green area is 'safe', or why. In those early levels, the happy block is safe enough - it's perfectly balanced, unless a mouse comes over and deletes the blocks underneath!

monomaniacpat, I did think about that problem, and I figured that I might as well just give the players some very limited early stages and people would get the hang of it pretty quickly.

Nijo - Unity3D is pretty awesome. There are some limitations, and there are some parts about the drag-and-drop functionality which is a bit cumbersome at times. All in all however the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages, and I'm looking forward to doing another game. I have the 'Indie' version, but I would like to save up and buy the 'pro' version to get rid of that horrible watermark!

I just had a go of this, too. Very nice indeed Well done Dock!

I wish I had more to say but I just really liked it. It worked really well with nice clear graphics (the cute angle will always win me over) and a cool palette. Win!

What a great little game. I now need more levels...and a DS version. Graphically it is perfect. Sound wise is a bit lacking, needs some werid japanese game music adding and some cute screaming sound effects. Can see from this early demo how it could easily progress into a tight puzzel game. Limited moves, time limits, obstructions and all sorts.

I enjoyed it so much not only did i complete it, i posted a link on rllmuk too. Hope you don't mind.

My wife had a go of this, not a huge gamer but sadly she grew bored of it very quickly. She said that she found it dull although she liked the faces the block pulled as they fell to their doom. Sorry.

I think an introduction of time limits, limited moves etc might give it the excitement she was looking for.
