Wii graphics corruption, aka fried GPU

I thought stuff like Tri and Brawl were non-transferrable though seeing as they have netplay stuff involved? I remember taking my wii in for repairs before and there were a few games (seem to remember Eledees being one) that I couldn't keep the savegame for and lost it all.

Yeah MHTri is definitely non-transferable.

Your saves should be fine. I had to send mine off to get the disc drive replaced and it came back with all my saves safe and sound. I'd still copy the ones you can though, just in case.

Yeah, have been reading up and people on various forums have stated that their stuff has been ok, still might be worth detailing everything I want to keep in some kind of letter or something and yeah, backing it up.

Been trying something overnight and gonna clean stuff out the best I can without opening the thing up. If I have to send it in I have to send it in, and I hopefully shouldn't lose a thing.

When I sent my Wii for repair, I ended up getting a different scruffy one back, with the language set to German, with a bunch of saves on that weren't mine and somebody else's Mii's. Was still able to download the stuff I'd bought from VC though.
