Yep.....And I was crap . I haven't played a fighter on a pad for over a year. You might have well have given me a flight stick yoke and asked me to play with that. I beat one bloke, but got my arse handed to me by some cocky kid playing Lau.

He wasn't bad, but I know I could have beaten him easily with a stick.

Mind you, he could have been thinking the same thing .

the tourney was badly organised, there were a lot of good players there but 4 people at a time were picked at random, mostly button bashers.

From what I hear, he's one of the best Evo players outside of Japan.

Ryan is very good at pretty much any beat 'em up he plays, he regularly wins tournies.

He also has zero patience with noobs - he'll kick the **** out of you as quickly as possible, rather than helping you get better.

Didn't he lose the last Tekken 4 UK championship?

Limited Edition Virtua Fighter 4 EVO PS2? Arcade Sticks

Forget the silly tournament, this could be more important - does it suggest to anyone else that they might actually consider releasing a decent stick that people could buy in a shop, rather than importing from Japan and end up paying as much in customs and postage as the price of the stick itself?

One can only hope.
