From what I've seen so far I don't think I'm gonna like the whole avatar thing. They all look so sterile and charmless. I think I prefer Mii's and I don't like Mii's very much at all.

They're actually much better than Miis in a way. The clothes add an awful lot (albeit via a tiny selection of stuff) to personalisation, and makes them look a lot more human too. Watching them and moving them around in the dashboard is way better than these static images, too. And you can make them do funny stuff (funny for a few minutes, anyway.) They have way more personality than Miis do.

Miis are way more fun to make, though. Repositioning/resizing features to make amazing things is impossible, here, and excellent on Wii.

Faffed around with it for a bit, trying to make an accurate one, but, no, it is absolute bull****. You can't even change the colour of the clothes? what the **** man. I can imagine that would have required a lot of extra coding, to enable colour changing. Lazy ****ers. Why do they all have that ricockulous camp pose, it's just stupid. And why are all the clothes designed for women? I don't want my professor character to be wearing skin tight pants, thanks all the same.
