I tried that Olu and, yeah, it couldn't be more like Rez if it tried. It's pretty good too to be fair, it's naturally not as polished or refined, but pretty good and tempting at 240 points.

This is one for fans of oldschool JRPGs. It's a lovingly crafted and charming adventure which supposedly includes some six hours of gameplay. At 80pts it's gotta be the best value game on the Marketplace. Well worth checking out.
Tempted to stop buying retail releases altogether at this rate, grow myself a beard, and just buy cheapskate Indie games.

Glad you like it.
Might wanna check out Biology Battle too. I've championed the game in this thread before but it's worth repeating what a polished and enjoyable title it is. Costs 240pts (was 800pts at one point) and includes online leaderboards and several multiplayer modes (sadly all local). It supposedly cost $100,000 to produce as the developers were hoping MS would grant the game a Live Arcade license but MS refused (which is crazy considering the **** they do give the green light to) so it was released as an Indie game instead.

Prismatic Solid
Arguably the best Indie game to date, I urge everybody download the tria for this, especially fans of hardcore Jap shoot em' ups who should adore it.
It's challenging, tactical, incredibly good-looking, abstract, psychedelic, and includes a superb oldschool goa trance-like soundtrack. It is quite difficult but completion brings with it it's own reward (which I won't ruin).
It's 80 pts. Be a winner. Get it.

Bit of a strange one here....
I had my 360 offline last night and for some reason whenever I tried to boot any indie games I got a message saying I needed to connect to Live to access the content.
I haven't changed the 360 or upgraded the hdd since they were bought. Other d/l content (XBLA games mainly) I tired worked fine and didn't revert to the trial versions as you'd expect if there was an ownership / licensing issue....
Is this normal?Last edited by tom-nook; 12-06-2010, 12:31.
