Seems to be a pretty straightforward port of the PS3 game.

Rather than rotating around a sphere, the game is on a flat plane that wraps around at the edges, approximating what you had in SuperStardust HD.

Seems to throw a ton of stuff at you, framerate seems solid so far.

Movement is with the analogue stick, aiming with the buttons, weapon switching on the d-pad.

You can also switch it around so movement is on the buttons, aiming on the analogue stick.

Personally I'd have preferred D-Pad for movement and buttons for aiming…

... and I'm still none the wiser.

Downloaded this last night and thats exactly how firing works, controls are ****e to be honest, takes a lot of getting use to with that control scheme. I'm finding that I'm just trying to avoid shooting diagonally when I can, not easy once it gets a bit hectic though. I'm thinking it might of worked better if you could control the ship with analogue, X to fire and L and R to rotate the gun clockwise, anti-clockwise.

That's how we used to play SmashTV on the SNES. I'm sure it's fine
