    Wii Freeloaders...

I know one of the updates blocked the Wii freeloader. Import Wii games.

Was wondering before i shell out on a NTSC Cube..do any of the Wii freeloaders...Import Cube to Pal Wii still work?

    Thanks

The newer firmwares just stop the disc from executing entirely, so no.

But these days, people just use the Twilight Hack to install the Homebrew Channel, then run Gecko OS for import Wii and GameCube goodness!

IYO...would you recommend doing this? or just buying a Import cube?

Please bare in mind or to anyone who helps me..I'm rubbish at installing anything..so a complete hand-held guide would be great!

Can I have advice on this...are there any repercussions?

I installed an update on my Wii the other day...has this blocked the aforementioned?

      Thanks.

It's a pure software job, nothing more than loading a modified Zelda save.

There has been a workaround that works with the new 3.4 update, though the advice is to refrain from the official Nintendo updates in the future and wait for the homebrewer workarounds. Gecko can bypass forced updates anyway.

Thank you. Well..I've looked on youtube..not sure which one to follow exactly. I have completed Zelda..but not sure if I've removed the save data when i was clearing space before i bought a SD card (which I have) (I have tons of VC stuff now)

Please may someone point me in the right direction and I'll have a go at this..

          Thank you

I did this the other day and it works perfectly. I don't think it works with cube games though.

Gecko OS does indeed boot Gamecube games.
