I've finally managed to finish the first game today, and this certainly looks the part. Eagerly awaited, let's hope that is representative of the in-game engine.

The new PlayStation 3 title will add a free climbing mechanic and stealth gameplay.

I hope they do a good job with the stealth setup, I think the game will benefit a great deal from a well implemented stealth system. My only complaint about the first was too much focus on the combat (Understandable though given how well done it was), so hopefully this gives us some options.

Must play through the original again at some point.

I'm going to make the assumption that he's either crashed something, or that relic has turned the place icy. Which I believe is standard behaviour for a relic with a blue stone, as many years of TV/games has taught me.

Is the first one really good then? It came along during my gaming hiatus so I know nothing about it - I read that this one has a historical setting (15th century???) so that has piqued my interest... I had assumed it was another generic FPS, probably involving aliens or monsters.
