Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistance. is it worth the price tag?

I didnt like snake eater so never got anywhere near finishing it, but after loving MGS4 Ive decided to try the third game with the new camera system (which i think is one of the main reasons I enjoyed the forth game so much more than the others).

The thing is though the game goes for around ?50 second hand now, so I'm just wondering, does the shift in camera improve the game enough to warrant the price? Becuase i dont really want to pay that much for a game I wont like.

How it can be that much I don't know. It's not *that* much better than normal Snake Eater so no, it's not worth fifty bloody quid.

I preferred it a lot to snake eater, but no , I wouldn't pay 50 quid for it, and to think I sold mine for £13.50

The used prices being asked now are ridiculous - I had the chance of getting it new at ?17.99 about a year ago. I didn't buy it then and wish I had. It's one of a about half-a-dozen old PS2 games on my still to get list but no way would I pay more than ?20 - ?25 for a complete, good condition example.

But that's just me, if you have the money and you really want the game you pay whatever is being asked don't you?

Cheaper just to buy the essential collection, even if you do miss disc 2.

true, I mean the 3 disc subsistence set isn't really worth owning now metal gear online on it won't work anymore, and you'll only want to watch the cutscene disc once. The metal gear 1/2 are quite buggy also.

MGS 2
