Finished Banjo last night and another gap in my gaming resume is filled (I missed out on the N64 back in the day but thanks to XBLA and VC I'm gradually making up for that).
Collected all 900 music notes, 100 jiggies, found Cheato 3 times, activated all cauldrons and cleared all of Bottles' puzzles. Made a start on Banjo-Tooie almost immediately and the presence of that save file should allow me to go back into BK and collect all the Stop 'n' Swop items then should have completed everything.

On the whole, I was really impressed with the game. Really challenges Super Mario 64 in the design stakes and even improves on it in some aspects (not as stop-start in nature).

As far as I remember that is all of the games I’ve completed this year and it’s by no means complete for 2009 as the second half looks just as good.

Also I’ve noticed that since selling my collection of hundreds of Videogames, I’ve been completing more year on year than I’ve ever done at any stage in my life.

If anyone is getting tired or you’re losing the enthusiasm Videogames can offer and has a collection higher than Mt Everest, then I seriously recommend selling everything and keeping only two consoles and a boxful of games. You won’t regret it!

inFamous (an electrifying experience; it was my second platinum trophy of the year)
Batman: Arkham Asylum (completed story mode and solved all the riddles)
Quantum of Solace (blasted through the game on Octopussy (easy) mode)

The fewer games you buy and own, the more incentive you have to fully rinse the game out; you can definitely appreciate the experience and the game itself more too.

Perfect Dark - I brought an import US N64 for the first time and it was a revelation to play all the games I've played a million times before but in full screen 60hz glory. Although I played a lot of Wave Race 64, I fully completed Perfect Dark again. It was bloody brilliant.

WRC ?04 ? I managed to spot the deal Tesco were doing for a PS2 Slim for only ?30 and managed to get one from my local for that price. I?ve been picking up the few of my favourite PS2 games I don?t own and one of them was WRC ?04. It?s a brilliant racing game and one of the best rally games bar none. I completed a bit of it but whilst I was on my holiday in Croatia, my little brother picked up the Gauntlet and sailed through all the stages and we pretty much unlocked them all.
