Thanks fishy. Mine is called Rocky. He's more of a hindrance much of the time although he did finish off 2 popos yesterday while I dodged a *insert name of first big monster that resembles a dragon here * thus allowing me to finish the last 1 star training mission. 5 hours to finish the first set of training lol. Oh, finally found a use for the paintball to keep an eye on that pesky dragon thing. At first I thought I was supposed to kill him but I suspect that to be impossible at my current level!

Your Felyne isn't really there to help you take out monsters, they are more of a support character. Depending on which skills you give them as they level up, they can give you attack/defense buffs and heal you from a negative status. They also work as a good distraction for monsters, letting you heal up or lay down traps when a monster turns its attention onto them.Comment
