Nothing like it whatsoever. Its just a spin of Capture the Flag. Wish i never bought it myself, over hyped dull nonsense.

I've been very disappointed. It's certainly not as good as the hype would suggest and the lack of people talking about this suggests as much.

The Eurogamer review gives a pretty solid reflection of where the game's faults lie.

All the media were really hyping this and i was really excited for it. But in the end its just a really poor game, if i knew this before hand i wouldn't have put the money down for it. Totally overhyped.

I never did check how much BF 1943 cost on the psn, how does that compare to this? I figured Sony would try and cost it in the same area as its primarily a multiplayer game too. The single player for this should have just been dropped altogether, its god awful.

getting into a game is a massive pain in the arse.
but once in, its ran pretty well for me lag wise. i think the game is getting better as people are learning what needs to be done at various stages of the battle.

but there are still plenty of people just wading into the middle of the map and dieing again and again... not seeming to notice that teamwork is the point of the game. i play as a priest (after starting each match as a worker for a while), the number of times i've been healing a dark priest, and they havent bothered to switch and heal me, meaning i have to retreat and sit down for a rest is silly. but many people dont seem to realise they are so close to death, and dont give you the chance to save them.

when you finally get into a little group of varied classes, and start to work together its quite good though. helping each other out. going forward, then holding back to regroup a little before ploughing on again. and i'm hopeful it will get better as everybody learns the maps.

as it is though, getting a game is painful, and the length some matches go on for is really draining. they need a time limit i think. it seems to lend itself to a quick ten minute mad blast. but its been pimped up as a proper tactical game, which doesnt ring true at this stage.

oh, and the price is damn cheeky imo.
1943 and this are both $15, but over here, fat princess is ?2 more than 1943.

why is everybody complaining about NOOBS , there's a very easy answer get playing with NTSC forumites who are wanting to play serious, wish there was clan option for serious peeps like myself, only people ive played with is Mugs and doodledood....
