Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but anyone else tried to buy anything today and found the checkout system changed and very confusing. I always pay via paypal and upon confirming my order it usually goes straight to the paypal site to pay. Now it goes to a page that says there is nothing in my basket. In my account it says waiting for payment but all the options lead nowhere- HELP!

Play Asia Checkout- WTF?

I've had Paypal payment problems with Play-Asia but I put that down to the fact I'm using an old TV browser rather than a PC. Last time I bought from them I couldn't get the Paypal link to work at all so after my third attempt gave up.
I had to delete the entire order to get it to cancel and reset the payment options. I then re-ordered using direct credit card payment and it worked perfectly.

Instead of creating a new thread I thought I'd hijack this one.
I'm a new customer to Play asia, I mean i've browsed it for a while but only now do I want to buy something.
So anyway, I wanted to order 2 Dreamcast controllers from them, so I clicked add to basket; quantity 2, and then went through creating my account that way, rather than creating an account first, then placing an order.
I had to give my debit card details and select the shipping I wanted and all that. Then I got 2 e-mails, the first was an order summary and the second was one about payment methods. This is where I don't know what to do.
I've already entered my debit card details and selected to keep it on file when I first went through the order process. But now it seems to want me to confirm my payment, or make the payment now. But the site hasn't actually told me if I've made the payment or if its in the process of being paid. And if I click on confirm payment, then the only options as to how I've paid is a Bank Transfer, paypal etc. Nothing to do with paying by a Debit Card.
Can anyone give me some help with this confusing payment process.Last edited by Malc; 24-09-2009, 13:05.

As I said months ago in this thread I had something similar when trying to pay by Paypal.
Maybe you'll have to do the same thing I did - cancel the order and re-submit it using a credit card instead.
Don't know about using a debit card though, never (and wouldn't) have selected that method myself.Last edited by fallenangle; 24-09-2009, 14:34.

With a credit card it is the bank's money and the only hassle will likely be a temporarily cancelled card.
As you know there is a thread here detailing all the problems people have endured when suffering this type of fraud.
