Download Jpn and US content via UK tag?

Instead of going to the hassle of buying foreign points cards or adding points to foreign accounts since we can now que items for download via the various web based marketplaces ie:

http://marketplace.xbox.com/ja-JP/games/

Can we buy items on those marketplaces with a UK gamertag that has points attributed to it?

Has anyone tried it?

I just tried to queue the Biohazard 5 demo (gold only on JPN) with my UK gold account and I'm getting a "Error: Offer not valid in your region" error. Infact, seem to be getting the same on everything

Might be nice with to have a browse on your PC through the J-content but it's looking like it'll only allow an account of the right region to queue stuff up.

I think that you need to create a "fake" gamertag, in order to download on the area you want :
For example you can create an American and a Japanese gamertag ( you need to use the yellow pages in order to get a "valid" physical adress (in tokyo, etc..).
trouble is you will need to fin MS point from the specific area : Japanese gamertag = Japanese MS points. Careful , because you need to use a credit card from the specific area !! But you can still buy MS points from US or Japanese web site merchants.
I made a test with my American gamertag and it works. I downloaded an American smups (Aegis Wings only available on the US market...) , with my silver American account.
I have a friend who buy the US arcade game, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix with MS points + US gamertags : it works on your XBOX 360, even with his European gamertag .

Talked about it in the above. You just need to setup say a USA account with hotmail and then same for a JPN one with some addresses. Then if you try to buy something when logged in with that account with points cards it will ask for a postcode for first time you just use the same one and it saves and no problem Thats all I did with Raiden IV and Gorgeous content after I set one up and bought a points card from JPN ebay seller. Then all I do is use my UK account to play the dlc with.

Can you not just change your country from the location option for your gamertag? Im moving to Canada in a few months so will want to change over my UK account to a Canadian one and not lose all of my information, already purchased Live Arcade games and my gamerpoints. Is this possible? If not Im going to be really pissed off as the achievement points I have now took me hundreds of hours to achieve and I dont want to lose that record and I dont want the hassle of creating a new account and gamertag when I move.

Changing your location is just cosmetic, you'll still only be able to access the UK marketplace with your existing gamertag.

You'd need a new gamertag altogether to browse the NA marketplace.
