Dire issue for reviews this month! You can certainly tell the Christmas rush is well and truly over.

I haven't read my copy yet, the 2009 feature looks pretty decent as does the Bible to God games. I haven't read the Killzone 2 preview yet, but judging by the final two paragraphs they werent huge fans.

Yep, it's pretty thread-bare this month but then there's not exactly a wealth of titles being released right now. The 2009 preview just made me a bit sad since there's basically sod-all coming out in the forseeable future either. I can count the titles I'll buy this year on one hand right now

I'd like to see the section on Diddy Kong Racing (listening to the main hub music now..).

I don't usually moan about scores, but, unless the original four-year-old Meteos was awarded a fourteen or something, how did this game ever get this score? When I played it, it seemed to me that the 360 version paled in comparison to the DS original.

I'm pretty sure that gTM gave the original a 9. I've seen it at the top of their DS software list in the past.

the review lists for edge and this really highlight the game drought as mentioned.

I can't believe that if one of the titles that got lost in the pre-xmas rush wasn't held back and released in Jan it wouldn't pick up more sales.

I'm sure Banjo, Mirrors Edge, Tomb Raider, the type of title that didn't hit top drawer status would generate a better return in Jan than the 4th quarter. You could spend less on advertising, get more exposure and not flog it off at half price after 2 weeks.

Come on lads, it's hardly a drought. 6 a few weeks with a thin release schedule is welcome after the more games than any person has time for Christmas rush.

Well I'm really looking forward to The Witcher: Rise Of The White Wolf. What did they say about it? Is there any kind of release date?

I'm with you on that. I really want to know how its going to work on the consoles.

Indeed, it just doesn't work with a controller for me. Metoes without a touchscreen is like playing Guitar Hero with a pad - its playable but the fun is just drained out of it.

Their plans for the console version sound really ambitious. Considering this is the 3rd version of what was already supposed to be a very good game it could be one of the games of the year.

From what I've read the combat is being pretty much overhauled to work better on a controller.

I'm really looking forward to that game. I'm a fan of the books and I've wanted to play the PC version but that requires some jumping through hoops on my Mac, so the console version will be the ideal opportunity for me to play it.

Cool - would like to read a bit about 16-shot.
I'm currently a 12.5-shot... which is pretty good i reckon. Had to vibrate like a nutter to get it though. Can anyone better that? Does anyone else have a shooting watch?Does anyone know what I'm talking about?!
