I'm a definite fan of the new one, particularly with the usable Marketplace and how it's a lot more responsive. I know where everything is now so it's no slower to find stuff than the old one - and it's all on the guide if you want to do it that way.

My only real complaint is that I wish I could set it to default to the My Xbox blade (?) rather than advertising at me in the Spotlight and Inside Xbox ones.

i gotta agree with the themes are pretty useless on the new dashboard but charging 250ms points for a premium theme is just a con. still though i prefer the new dashboard its kinda like the psp dash in some sense.

My Xbox is so much more pleasurable to use since the new dash, but that's not necessarily because of it. HDD installs are excellent, the fact that my list of arcade games doesn't take 2 minutes to populate before I can choose anything is three years overdue.

It's bloody cumbersome though. The Marketplace is a mess and it's impossible to find good stuff. I looked at the "what's new" game add-ons section earlier because I hadn't turned it on in a month and I wanted to see what I'd missed, and because it lists it by piece of content rather than game, all that was there was Rock Band, Lips, and Guitar Hero. There doesn't seem to be any other convenient way to find out what I've missed.

I like the new Inside Xbox. It's so much more prominent and yet SO much easier to ignore. It's really weird how that happened but I bet I'm not the only one who used to read it all the time on the old Dash but totally ignores it now.

Far prefer the old one... the new one takes an age to download any game information, so I've stopped bothering with extra content, XBLA games and demos - and I used to buy literally all the XBLA games, so it's costing MS a customer by having it so bloody slow.

Yep same with me, browsing for new content is a real chore. It looks really nice but I am now finding the market place slower than the Playstation store

I don't mind the new dash, the Miis are groovy. And if you prefer the old dash you just have to press the guide button, that's just a less shiny version of the old one.

I like the new dash and have no problem navigating around it and finding content. Speed wise it's fine too.

i like the old one better.
took me ages to get the skate 2 demo downloading, then after a while the progress bar disappeared, and took me ages to find it again so i could check how it was getting on. when i leave it on that page, i would like it to stay there thanks.
friends list is also rubbish on the new one. surely nobody ever uses the one with all the avatars on it.

If anything it's easier to find content for games For example, if you wanted to check for new Call of Duty 4 content you do this:

Game Marketplace > All Games (browse) > C > Call of Duty 4 > All Downloads > then sort by 'Most Recent' (press LB once) and new content will be listed at the top.

                    Took me 8 seconds

Active downloads can be found in the guide. Press the guide button, LB twice and it's the 3rd one down

its not actualy any quicker to do that then going to Marketplace/games/game addons/Call Of Duty4/ then just picking whatevers at the top of the list (which were always the most recent) really though is it?

To be honest I feel the old style method of simple lists was much more user freindly than the big chucky flashy visuals they use now, it might look more impressive to some people (though personaly I dont even think that), but that dosent help you download things any easier.

I really like the new dash, took me about an hour to learn where everything was but I fly through it now. Found the old one really sluggish and would crash a lot, not had any problems with the new dash. Avatars dont really bother me, although I do find myself checking out all the new clothing thats released

Favourite feature for me is party chat.

Much preferred the old one. Apart from the install option, there's nothing I like about the new one.

New for me, the old dash looks alot more primitive by comparison - love the avatars, mine looks just like me

I've got nothing against the new dash really but the old dashboard worked fine for me too.

New Dash -- I don't feel it takes any longer to do/find what I am looking for and it looks a lot more welcoming. There are "old dash" style shortcuts, when you press the guide button and I don't spend enough time on the dash to worry much about themes.

I also like the fact that I can finally remove zero gamerscore Live Arcade Demo's from the Achievement List. Although this feature is not necessarily made possible only because of the new interface, it still came with the new dash, so I'm counting it
