    Bricked PSP - need help

A chap i work with sons PSP is knackered

basically it all powers up with the green light that shows their is power going to the PSP

But the screen doesnt come up and it just sits there doing nothing

He asked me how much Sony would take to repair it, but i'm sure one of you guys would know how to fix it without the involvement of Sony

I kinda think it could have powered down during a software/firmware upgrade

    all help will be appreciated

Get a Datel firmware battery, and flash it back to an official FW.

It's just the same as Sony would do anyway*

*Unless it's not the FW that's knackered.

oh look, I have something for sale that'd probably fix it

and yes, there is a chance it could be something else of course.

If you can source a pandora battery and memory stick readymade, then you can't get any easier than that.

Plug it in, turn it on, choose the option to flash the official/unofficial firmware, turn it off.
