Streetfighter III : 3rd Srike settings for Dreamcast

Hello. I have heard that SFIII 3rd Strike on the Dreamcast may run at a different speed and have a different parry speed to the arcade version.

What options do I need to set in the settings to make it the same as the arcade? I read that there are also 8 pages of settings options you can unlock - but I haven't done this yet.

Thank you very much for any help.

This might sound stupid, since you probably already have, but have you tried gamefaqs?

i believe its only very slightly different from the arcade, and your stuck with it. its not like they made it different on purpose and you can fix it with options.

The problem is (supposed) control lag. I've never seen any proof, but the general concencus is that it is a problem in the DC version but not on PS2 or Xbox.

Thanks for the responses. I have had a look on GameFaqs but couldn't see anything but I will have another look. I did hear that the DC version was based on a different revision of the arcade board, so this is probably why it is different.
There doesn't seem to be any control lag as far as I can see. I heard that there was meant to be some kind of lag on parrying - does anyone know if this is true? (I am not very good at parrying anyway)

Anyone know what I need to change in options to make it just like the arcade? (I've never played the arcade). I like using my DC because I have other fighters I play on it, and I also have arcade sticks.

What I heard also was that the Xbox version runs slightly too fast - but I suppose you can slow it down in the options.

the best version as someone said above, is the ps2 version. I have the dreamcast version of all 3 sf3 games and they just don't seem right for whatever reason. It's been a while since a I put them on and I'm fully used the ps2 version these days so maybe I'm wrong.
the unlockable options on the DC version, as far as I can remember, are bits and pieces that allow you to customise the game so that it plays more like other street fighter series for example the zero games or strret fighter 2.

While the PS2 version is considered to be the closest to the arcade, the fact is it's not 100% arcade perfect as it runs slightly faster than the CPS3 original.

The PC version with netplay is the best

Personally, I stopped playing 3rd Strike quite a while ago after years of playing it fairly regularly. The top tiers dominate the game too much, making for some boring and repetitive match ups.

no 480p on the ps2 version though...

not the best looking on an HD panel

SFIII double impact (xbox emulated) in true widescreen), now thats more like it!
