Magicball (PSN)

So has anybody played this PSN game ?? Its a breakout arkanoid clone in 3D with power ups, pirates, wizards, power downs ie skulls, small ball, and all kinds of laughs and mayhem. Think theres 3 worlds though ive got to world 2. First world has pirate theme, 2nd medieval theme, its a fun game and has co op and competitive online games.

I've played it quite a bit and enjoyed it, I've completed it now.

There are 2 worlds at the moment, it does mention that there will be more added at some time. Even though I've got to the end, I've still got quite a bit to do in the levels though.

It's from the same people who made Mahjong Tales & Cuboid and it seems there is DLC for all three on the way including a level editor for Cuboid.

This is one of my most played PSN games.

Why? Because of the Co-Op mode; it is a joy to play and is such a good laugh when the person sitting next to you say 'hey, get the bloody ball!'... followed by 'oh bugger'.

The trophies are generous too but I can't seem to get the secret trophy sitting near the bottom of the list (I dislike having to look up on the net to find out what it is).

The music on the other hand can get on your nerves fairly quickly...

I can't wait until the third set is released too!

I found some of the levels surprisingly tough on my first play through which was surprising.

I like the power ups in the game, well apart from the Stupid Pink Fecker which I absolutely hate. I'm not really sure if that's the official name but it's what everybody I know calls it when they get it!

I think the pirate world is easier seeing you can put it round the back and medieval world is harder since you have to break each block , hope the next 1 it a ghost n ghoulies theme would be awesome if anybody wants to play co op add me

No, I'm sticking with my name for that one!!

It was a couple of the levels on in the Knights section that I struggled with. I think they started off about an inch from your platform and it would be combination of things like horses & trees which made the ball really unpredictable.

There was probably a couple of the wells that the pink things came out of two which really didn't help. I'm sure it only took 2 or 3 goes to get each of them in the end though.

Got this game yesterday and promptly got addicted to it, now done and dusted I really enjoyed it, and hope there are some more episodes coming soon.

A couple of the Knights levels (which I think have been referred to above) were pretty evil; the ones where you have minimum space at the bottom and those stupid crazy water pools. Once you have cleared some space though, they're alright.

My favourite power-up is probably the iron ball, as it makes mincemeat of most levels, especially when you get multi-ball too

Just made a purchase, downloading now. Looks ideal for a break from SF4, although I need to put more time in with that than taking a break from it ha ha.

Yay Yay my prediction was half right wanted ghost n ghoulies etc hopefully they might be in it hope the guys keep bring out loads of DLC for it a new theme every month or 2 for around 3 quid would be ideal i know id buy it

Cheers for the info there , I have just looked at the stats on the ingame menu and I have been playing this for about 5 hours now I think that is the most I have play a game in a very long time
