Best guitar for Rock Band 2 Bass

OK I've got all the instruments that came with RB1 along with the fantastic Ion drum kit, but was looking to get a 2nd guitar for Bass play in RB2. I know you can get the official guitar as solus which might be an option but it's quite expensive and I can only see it getting used at parties.

The other option would be to get the GHWT guitar pack with the guitar so I get a copy of GHWT, but I've heard mixed things about the game itself.

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

If it's not going to be used much, get whatever's cheapest. Another RB guitar is probably the best option not based on price (or get an RB2 guitar when they come out as your main guitar, and use the old one for a bass).

Might be worth trying a GHWT controller before you commit, as peoples preference varies greatly. Some swear by RB (me) some swear by other controllers.
