    cancelling preorder with game instore

i was talked into preordering killzone 2 at a local game store, when i was trading some stuff in, but i have recently ordered the game online (and already received it!). Do you have to let them know you wont be picking it up, or should i phone and cancel. I think i remember them saying there was no obligation.

I did this with mgs4 when it was first out with GAME. I didn't bother letting them know I wasn't coming to get it. Next time I was in I asked about it and the guy had no idea what I was talkin about, had no record of it? Plus I got to keep the bonus pre-order dvd.

Thats why Game pre-orders are great. I generally pre-order all games i'm vaguely interested in getting. If I do want to pick them up on release date I'm fairly certain to get a copy and I get double reward points. If it's much cheaper online then cos it's no obligation then I just don't go get it or if they call me to confirm they have it in stock I'll let them know. I wouldn't worry about calling them, they won't loose any sleep.

This man is hyper-rational. Watch out, guys - he'll be buying your games and selling them on for a profit if you're not careful (potential eBay demon).
