    New HDD for 360?

'Kay, I have an olde 360 with a 20 gb drive (I know, whut) and want to upgrade to a 60 or possibly 120 GB.

UH, how do I do that? Sounds totally noob but I have no idea. I believe I need some cable to transfer data to a new drive? How do I get one?

Local Cash Convertor has a 120 model but no wires with it. Is it even a good idea to consider that one, or might it be knackered? (warranty on it but still)...

    Thanks

If you buy one new, it comes with the cable and the software you need to do the transfer. MS will send you the bits if you ask, but it can take a while.

      A warning: this isn't true.

I think you get them with the 120gb drives, but not the 60gb ones. If you need a cable, there's a thread on rllmuk which has a number of cables passing between people, add your name to the list and you should get one before long to transfer all your stuff over.

To be honest you can transfer all your saves over with a memory card, and re download any acade games/content you may have had.

        Easiest way i think.
