I imagine this will make it uber rare what with no one actually buying it because of the price (or already owning it on the DC or XBLA).

If anyone has it, what's the port like?

I might take a punt but £60 notes for a game I've got 2 versions of already is a bit much.

AFAIK it's got some new anime bits for the story and you can play as one new character (Crueltear or something, the boss from the original).

I love the game and have the DC and XBLA versions but don't think I'll be triple-dipping, mainly as a result of the price!

Ditto. It seems far too expensive to me; I'll be waiting for one of their sales instead. I've got a pretty much complete collection of PS2 shooters (barring Cho Aniki ) but I'm not paying that.

Just looked at the limited edition set the figure looks awesome but at £110 plus shipping it's no way worth it.

I havent even opened my Segadirect DC version so there's no way I'll be buying this especially since I have it DL'd now through Live Arcade.

Way way way too expensive.

Exchange rate aside: Y8190, which looks to be the list price if I can trust amazon.co.jp, is a silly amount to ask for a PS2 port of a game with two cheaper options for playing it.

It looks like amazon sellers are already trying to sell it for over list, though, so it's possible they had the right idea in pricing it high; if the market will bear it, why let that money go to the secondary sellers?

I don't think you can play as Crueltear in the XBLA version. The PS2 version also has new cut scenes for the story mode, I'm not sure if these are 'new' compared to the 360 version, they may be present in the DC version but I haven't played it on the DC in a while. I'm considering getting this (standard version) but the price is quite high.
