Does anybody know anything about this game that's up on the Japanese PSN? I downloaded the trailer and it looks like a genuine old school 2D platfromer.. and I'm talking REAL old school, like Gilligan's Gold that I used to play on the spectrum.

Was Speluinker a NES game or something?

I remember playing Spelunker on the Atari 2600. it was a bit like Pitfall IIRC. Does that sound like it?

It was announced at TGS last year, I did post a video somewhere on here. I'd forgotten all about it until I saw it for sale.

I presume that's local multiplayer only, shame as it looks like it might be fun. FSW, yeah I'd say it must be an update of that Atari game.

There is a video on the PSN too. Reminds me of XBLA Community games that can be bought at 200-400 points. 2400 Yen is a bit steep. (I do like the look of it though having said that)

I'll have a look, seen them in yodobashi camera many a time. I won't be able to let you know the answer for a while though, my internet is cut off tomorrow for a week or so.

I tend to do the play and charge thing (I have extra long USB cables) anyway, so I'd end up not using it that much.

You can get those docks in the UK. I saw them in Virgin/Zavvi in the past. Not sure whomakes them but they were the same as the hori docks from what I saw.

That charger IS the Hori one... from looking at the packaging it seems one charger does all colours of light, dunno if it cycles or you can set it somehow.
