Gears Of War 2 bug???

Been playing this on insane recently and am up to the bit in the third act where youre in the tank and my game is screwing with me it seems...

After you take down the tower and enter the dark cave theres suppose to be a checkpoint, Marcus is suppose to utter one of his cheesy lines and your headlights are suppose to come on, but NONE of this happens for me. Also I cant progress any further now as the corpser no longer bashes its way through the wall and gives me somewhere to go..

Ive restarted the console, restarted the chapater, ive tried everything and no matter what I do the game wont let me progress past this point. Anyone have a solution?.

Is the disc clean? Actually, you could try installing it if you haven't already or uninstalling and running from disc if you have it installed. Fable 2 bugged all over for me until I installed it. Worth a try.

Will try installing it if I have enough room, trouble is my HD is only 20GB and its full of arcade games, Guess its finally time to upgrade.

Delete the arcade games, install GoW2, get past bug, uninstall GoW2, redownload arcade games
