does lips have a receiver?

My wife just picked this up second hand and it isn't working. It it suppsoed to come with a remore receiver?

No it doesn't and I had trouble getting the mics to work too.
I looked it up and you need to join the mics before starting the game. Press the power button until the mic starts flashing then start the game and it should work.
