My brothers phat DS died last night, seemingly for no reason. I thought the battery had died, but I don't recall the red light coming on, and plugging in the charger has no effect (although the orange light does still come on), and the power button does nothing. Anyone got any ideas what's up with it? Could the battery have died permanently? The DS must be several years old by now, and he plays it a lot. It's all I could think of, but I assumed it would drain to empty and then die, not just cut out suddenly...

Maybe the screen died?
If you still get the LED to light up then the batts still has life.
Get a newer Ds model
they looks and feels muchos betterer.....
