...also going to Japan, but there are already lots of guides to places like Akihabara and Den Den Town. Was wondering if anyone had any experience of shopping for games in Korea (Pusan & Seoul), China (Beijing, Shanghai & Guangzhou) and Hong Kong. Apart from the Golden Computer Center in Sham Shui Po, I don't know where else to go. Mind you, I don't know what I want t buy yet either, although I would like to pick up an iQue if I can find somewhere that still sells the games.

Game shopping in Korea, China & Hong Kong?

I'll share what I know.
In Hong Kong, it is definitely the best option going to the Golden Computer Centre as well as Sino outlined in the above post. The prices of both places are pretty similar and competitive. I was last there in February and I was looking at lots of stuff and bargains in particular, bearing in mind my main machine is a PS3. Generally, I would say that Hong Kong doesn't have great bargains. Were the exchange rate better (ie. at the rate it was for years of ?1 = HK$15) then there's plenty you'll want to buy. Right now, the rate is bad and there are so many bargains to be had domestically, so definitely do more shopping for stuff that isn't available over here.
I bought my Hori Street Fighter IV Stick there for ?75 in February, definitely a good deal considering, but I wouldn't bet on getting sticks over there anymore, SF4 meant they're impossible to find now.
Also, I lived in Shanghai for two years just very recently and my advice with regards to mainland China is to avoid buying electronics and games there completely. They don't advertise the price of the games and are therefore able to fleece customers depending on their looks (ie foreigners) and most of their products are opened. That's without mentioning the fact that Hong Kong is inevitably cheaper than China by a pretty big margin.
However, I can't comment on prices and places in Korea or Japan. Hope that helps though.

Thanks for the info so far guys. As for iQue, they are licensed by Nintendo to distribute their products in China, so the DS carries an iQue logo. Also, games with Chinese can only be played on iQue DSes. I'm actually after an iQue Player, which is the N64-on-a-chip controller that was released in 2003. I've heard it is still possible to get them in China, but most places still charge full RRP of 400 yuan - and that's without any games.
Here's one currently on eBay:

I was shopping in Hong Kong this weekend and has a look in Sino Centre. To be honest for just games it's not all that good. Bigger and cheaper selection can be found in the Golden Center. However Sino Centre does have a variety of stores that sell all kinds of collectables, model figures and other nick knacks. Also it's centrally located on Nathan Road so you'll be able to fit it in with other places to shop eat.
