I can see why this is getting such bad reviews i remember the fun of thief was working out your own ways to do things and using creativity to get to your mark thief was many things, linear was not one of them. My suggestion would be if you haven't played Dishonored, skip this and get that instead as it costs pennies now, and if you really must play this wait a few weeks and like other big rehash games before it (splinter cell I'm looking at you) it will be sub ?20 in a few weeks.
