Other than the MGS2 demo I was looking forward to ZOE and sadly it felt like an under developed idea which was fun but too throw away.

On the flip side ZOE2 was simply one the best games on the PS2. Completely expanded the scale and gameplay of the first whilst really using the cinematic stylings of MGS to flesh itself out with its finale being EPIC.

A PS3 based ZOE3... well... that would simply be MEGATON

The end of ZOE2 made my eyes melt on the PS2 - one of the most spectacular things I've seen from a videogame, god knows what it would be like on the PS3. Bring it on!

Maybe. If they can fix the godawful camera, hideous script and over-complicated controls. I'm completely the other way round, loved the first game, was hideously disappointed with the second and cannot understand how people can't see these things as problems - the camera is ****, trufax, the dialogue is hideously bad, and one reason I've never got anywhere with the damn game is every time I go back I have to spend half an hour or more with the tutorial learning the controls all over again. I haven't played enough of it to know whether I'd completely agree with Edge's 4/10, but it was one of their reviews where I got really worked up over the internet response to it when their criticisms were so plainly stating facts.

Anubis is truly fantastic - more of that would be very welcome.
The set pieces when you take down the three/four motherships are just phenomenal. LOVE IT!

Yep I too so want Kojima to make another. It`s such an awesome game. I shudder to think how amazing and pretty it would look on PS3. Message sent in Japanese and English no excuse for them not to read it "making Z.O.E 3?"

I thought Zoe was decent fun and the sequel was completely ruined by the camera. I'd have to agree with Edge's harse appraisal of it.

I'd buy a ps3 for it (if it were exclusive, that is).

Basically either I'm doing something horribly, horribly wrong that neither the game nor the manual explains to you at all, or you simply have no idea what "camera problems" actually means. Sorry to be snarky but Anubis is one of those games where I look at what's going on and think "But... this isn't opinion. The camera actually is swinging all over the shop no matter what I do. The amount of time the view ends up giving me some crazy angle on what's going on is much, much higher than the amount of time it gives me a solid, stable view either from right behind me or some comfortable sort-of-isometric perspective over the action." The first game was more or less the complete opposite - I could always see what was going on, never felt overwhelmed by the controls, hardly even thought about them.

All I can think is that this is another game where the big "wow" moments are so iconic for those who've played them they end up taking these moments to mean everything else simply doesn't matter. ZOE 2 is great simply because ZOMG EXPLOSIONS!!1!!1!! and nothing else, apparently, in much the same way as FFVII is only really so popular because SEPHIE-SAMA IZ MA BISHIE *^-^* and carries a big sword.

To be honest, for the fans, I don't think it's nostalgia or set pieces. Like a handful of other games that periodically get a run through again ZOE 2 is a game that I really like to replay from time to time and the camera has never been an issue for me.

To ask a random question is the Jap version of Zone Of the Enders 2 in english at all?

Never really played any of the games - but i found a jap version of ZOE2 in my pile recently. Anyone think i should jus plow on with ZOE2 or should i start from ZOE1?

                              Thanks btw
