Right, it seems that F/ware 5.7 is current for the PSPGo even though older devices are on 6.00. Trying to activate a PSPGo on a PC errors because the activation code thinks the PSP firmware needs updating. Way to go Sony.

When are these supposed to be released, I thought it was Friday.

I'm asking as I've had an email from my cousin in the US and she says that they've posted it using DHL Express. Any ideas how long it should take to get here like that? Hopefully I'll be able to get a tracking number off them later.

We quite often send each other stuff and I told her to just post it when stuff was coming over so I thought it would be at least another couple of weeks before they posted it.

I'm getting the white version which is the one I wanted but I did say to buy the black version if they couldn't find one. I thought buying the white version was about the best I could do to avoid the fingerprints that you get on the black ones.

Going to order one of the official cases & screen protectors tonight so I have them when the PSP arrives.

Yeah it is released on Friday. I had an email from GAME a while back saying the date had been changed to October 2nd.

GAME online told me Friday (emailed me too) as I called them up today to ask about my order. Either way, doesn't really matter as I should have mine in time for the weekend. Yay!
