trying to find the name of a cancelled game...think it was a megadrive game seem to recall getting excited about it

was a 2d fighter with prerendered graphics ala killer instinct

The New Breed? If that's it there seems to be virtually nothing about it on the net.

There was an N64 game in issues 22 of N64 mag that I never saw anything about again. There was just some concept art of a guy with a flamethrower

Can’t get enough of these tech demos.

There’s a 'devs eyes only' GC demo called Peaches Castle. An Ultra 64 one called Project Reality; which seems to have slightly over estimated the N64 spec. A cars demo showcasing different vehicles - shame nobody bothers with the driving genre on Nintendo consoles.

The most interesting one is a very brief Banjo Threeie and Conkers ‘Other’ Bad Fur Day vid, showing the increase in on screen characters over the 64.
