A recently started thread by toythatkills (sorry for nicking your idea!) gave me an idea, so here goes
It seems like every couple of weeks or so we get threads popping up asking what are the best games for a certain console and the forum is crowded with them. Thats where this thread comes in, in here we will have games recommended by all of you for all most used/current consoles (360, PS3, Wii, DS, PSP, PS2, PC).
Obviously everyone has different tastes but I'm pretty sure most of us will agree on the best titles on each of the consoles, will be interesting to see either way.
One huge "definitive" list would be quite difficult to achieve with decent games being release almost every week! Taking that into account I think it would be best for everyone to just list their recommended games once and then update their post if they think a new release deserves to sneak in.
If you folks do have a better suggestion then please tell me as I'm open to all ideas. Here is how to vote.....

Obviously all genres might not apply to every platform so please take that into consideration. Also you don't have to nominate a game in every genre or for every platform as some of you might only play certain types of games or might not have a particular console, it is all up to you. Ideally please pick one game per genre but if you are hard pressed to pick one game out of two then just nominate both.
