Thanks to Blair for the words and Pat for the epic proof.

Good read, the gba, probably my favorite console ever. Couple of points though the gba sp+ (ags-101) also got an asian release too as i had an asian version. Also afaik the was only one version of the afterburner kit and thats frontlit, no backlit version, would love to see one if im wrong? Would have been nice to have mentioned the miriad of ltd edition hardware avalible, but all in all, nice one blair thanks

I'm really finding lately that the NTSC-uk features just aren't informing me of anything, and this must surely be true for a lot of other forum members. I already knew everything that was in this article, not because I'm a super hardcore gamer, but just because it's all pretty common knowledge. Can we please have some more specialized articles? Hardcore Gaming 101, for example, does some fantastic stuff on things that a lot of gamers just wouldn't know about - the Megaten series of RPGs, stuff like that.

This piece was okay, but really didn't have much more information than a Wikipedia article.

I really enjoyed it. I had completely forgotten about the GBA what with the DS taking up so much time so this article prompted me to rummage through my old GBA games and plug them into the ds for a bit. Currently playing Mario and Luigi : superstar saga. Great game.

Have to agree with Randicoot really, although I do consider myself well versed in gameboy history, being my favourite set of consoles. As a critique of the writing, I'd say it was generally good, although I don't think sliding mini game reviews into a wider article on hardware worked too well. And there was a sentence with two waves in it, which must have sneaked through proof reading somehow.

I find it funny how it was mentioned there wasn't enough room for a headphone output on the SP, yet it was introduced on the micro

I think kotaku asked nintendo what was going down with the GBA recently and they said it is still going and sold 400k last year

Amazing, I am going to go and try this later. I can imagine Wario Ware being a pretty dangerous event with a pulgged in Gamecube flying around!
