The first game was horribly under rate. Hopefully they'll lessen the focus on aliens this time (or at least enable you to have the same flexibility to defeat them as you had with the humans).

I'm looking to build a new PC once Intel produce their next line of CPUs, this should be a good thing to test it out.

I never played the first. I'm not fussed by the tech, but the first game sounded like it had some interesting ideas.

Same here - never played it but always wanted to, just couldn't be arsed with the money I needed t spend to bring my PC up to spec.

For that reason alone I'll be taking an interest in this one.

Very very good first game, and quite a compentent expansion is giving me a LOT of hope that Crysis 2 will be a very good game. What I loved about the first one was it felt paced well and had quite a long single player for a FPS by EA. Between this and Starcraft within the same timeframe, I'm very looking forward to PC gaming

First one was good but they cant optomise code for owt even the £3k machines at the time SLI struggled. Still waiting for the patch they said they would do after semi 2nd one came out (Warhead) to make it more PC friendly

Little glimpses of rioting/smashed cars indicate it’ll be set in an urban environment; which surely makes no sense given the ending of the first?

Meh, it’s still the best looking game out there. If it looks identical but plays different I’ll be more than happy. Let's just hope they're a little more creative with the enemies this time.
