PS3 or DS?

right, topic might seem odd but wanted to canvas opinion quickly.

with my new phone contract i've got the option of a free ps3 or free dsi. want to know what people would recommend taking? obv i've thought of just getting the ps3 as it's worth more than the ds but i've never really had the urge to own a ps3 up 'til now; none of the exclusives have really done too much for me. also not interested in getting a ps3 and selling it as i don't really have the time. counting against the ds is that i never really got into my gba when i had one of those back in the day, and am not a regular commuter or anything so there's no part of my life it would naturally slot in to.

Gotta get the PS3. Even if you want a DSi, sell the PS3 and get a DSi, and have cash left over. If you want a quick sale just list it here for £200 or so, no effort at all.

Unless the contract is more with the PS3, careful with that.

yeah i guess, typing it all out made it seem like even more of a no-brainer. i can just leave the ps3 in the box 'til there's something i really want to play, or sell it on.

How much is a PS3 worth at trade in nowadays?

To save the hassle, you could just walk into Game and hand it over for vouchers. Then you can spend it on whatever you want. If you get more than ?100 for a PS3 (I would presume so) then your quids in.

Be very careful with those contracts, more often than not, they've just tacked the price of the PS3 onto the contract and make you think you're getting it free. It's their way of justifying &#163;35 a month contracts (24 month term) when the phone you're getting is worth < &#163;100
