I'm playing Single Player as none of my usual gaming mates still have it. So, so much fun blowing things up Excellent explosion effects, and **** goes flying through the air. I think single player is great. Can only imagine multiplayer is even better

I loved the first one, it was the best game by far on either XBox!!

The only real problems were that it was far too easy and it seemed to be ridiculously short. I managed to kill the final boss without even realising who he was due to it being stupidly easy.

Apart from that it really was wonderful all the way through.

You've no idea who you're talking to

Easy and short, my two favourite words!

Usually, when a review says a game has X hours of playtime, it usually takes me double or triple that time (Resi 4 = 12 hours, MGS4 was about 15-odd I think, maybe longer), so looks like I'll be popping down to Game soon

Plus easy? You either haven't played it on Psychotic or you no longer have any business commenting on the difficulty of videogames.

Beaten it three times on Psychotic, by the way. Love it to pieces. But it's not easy. Just because you can't die doesn't make every game Fable 2.

For a second I thought that was just your idea of a bit of fun, I only just read the OP properly!

All this Crackdown talk has made my mind up to give it another blast this week if nothing more than to go for many of the achievements I am still to get.

It looks great on my HD tv. I sit close ish to it on a rather comfy beanbag often with the lights out so you get that really immersive experience.

Whoops, looks like Crackdown's out for me, then. It says 'installation of this game not supported'. My 360 drive is dodgy so I have to install all my games otherwise it's DRE city

Reading this thread has made me all nostalgic wanting to play this again

For me Saints Row 2 overtook Crackdown as my favourite sandbox game but only just. I adore Crackdown to bits, I will never get rid of it. Ever. Thankfully some of my mates still have it too so might get a bit of coop action on the go sometime soon

Why is it that this is one of the few games that doesn't install? It seems a bit odd as other big sandbox games do, Saints Row 2 being one that I can't stop playing at the moment. First DLC pack on Live tomorrow....

A few games don't support installing. There's a list some people made here

It makes very heavy use of pre-caching to hard disk. So if you install to hard disk it'd be copying from one place on your HD to another constantly. This would most likely affect the games performance adversely.
