LOL. Now now, don't be stupid. Where do I say anything anti-MS in my post? Anywhere? No.

Discussing an issue Natal will face has nothing to do with MS. It's a simple fact: the inherent latency of games + the complexity of tracking up to 4 user inputs (with 48 articulation points per user, with face mapping and voice recognition!) is going to take a little bit of time. From the first vid we all showed, I said there was latency, but that's to take nothing away from it. Just means it'll be good at some things, but not in others.

I'm stunned the latency is as low as it is.

Let's see - I speculated from the beginning, once we heard of Burnout running on it, that there will be a CPU onboard Natal itself; I've linked an informative article discussing the Natal and how it can impact gaming. I'm adding to the debate.

What have you contributed to this thread? In fact, so far, all the times I've seen you post have been having a pop at me.

So come on, who are you? You're a proxy account aren't you?

        LOL.

To be fair, the ease at which a certain segment of the forum get upset if you don't toe the MS Corporate Line, it could be one of a number of people.

But yeah, I'm calling that user a fake

Maybe, possibly, could be, half life 2 running on natal

Interesting tech if it's real. But certainly not how I want to play FPS games.

Anyone read about that HP camera that cannot see black faces?:

I hope that this, and the PS equivalent do not suffer from this, they have to resolve a lot of detail. Does the eyetoy have this issue?

I imagine the reason why the HP camera fails is down to lack of light.

                            Natal works off different technologies.

Natal is made up of two different techs (or at least is speculated to). Standard image camera and a range sensing infra red (which produces a grayscale image indicating distance for each pixel).

Natal has been said to have similar issues because skin melanin (pigmant) content varies how much Infra Red Light is reflected/absorbed.

Natal uses an IR camera and a normal camera together for facial recognition and depth perception.
