Project Milo looks very promising, whether it can be considered anything truly groundbreaking in AI interaction, especially 8 years after Seaman has happened, remains to be seen though.

i just wish there were more AI characters available than just a small boy. what about a proper lady?

I lie down and play my Wii, and just waggle when I have to, I'd rather have a controller TBH. I loved some of the demos Microsoft showed but am still a bit sceptical about it, it's looks very clever tech - I'd love to have a try.

I don't really know anything about this but that has got to be the worst name for a gaming product ever, it sounds like a pregnancy kit or something.

Just watched the Sony Conf and the poorly boy they got to do the demo made a good point about having a trigger - unless this can read my finger movements I wont be happy...I would love it if playing an action game ended up being like this...

If Natal takes off (which it won't) then they can easily create cheap plastic peripherals to go along with it.

Doesn't seem like much to worry about to be honest. I think her right hand isn't synced with what her hands are doing on screen so apparently the milo demo was faked. But it clutching at straws a bit, the tech is still very impressive.

None of the press that have actually fiddled with it have reported any issue...

Thought it was a given that none of it was "real" per-se? Its referred to as a "vision demo" in most places I've read, i.e. what they intend it to be like.

People have been impressed on how well it works with burnout paradise demo.

I thought they were impressed with how it worked with the original Burnout not Paradise.

                              Nah its Burnout Paradise demoed.

I think for it to be truly successful it should be integrated on its core strengths aside from just plain motion capture. Most genres still require a level of input precision that this isnt going to offer but thats not to say it cant be used at certain gaming intervals.

As an example you have say FIFA where you now pull off multiple celebrations on scoring a goal. You could use the controller through-out the game but when you score a cracker you can jump off the couch and instantly it would record your own personal celebration in real-time complete with voice synched to the players lip movement. Stuff like that.

Of course this should allow more accurate scanning of materials for use in game as well, faces being the obvious one... tried before in R6 but never really took off. Perhaps scanning of liveries into Forza3?

I think the best example in the video shown was the Buzz!/Scene it! game variety. Everyone playing on the couch being scanned individually and mimmicking a buzzer with their fists. I love these games but having to dig out the specific controllers every time (complete with infra-red dongle) is a chore.

The tech is good and for me it definitely has its place in the 360 roster.

It could of just been they have edited the footage over the screen in post production to make it clearer, but not synced it properly
