    Playing PSone games on PSP

Can anyone help me out with this? I have multiple accounts on my PS3 - US, HK, UK and JPN. I downloaded FFVII on my main, American, account and put it on a memory stick and it works fine on my PSP. I then put a Japanese game onto the same memory card and now can't play FFVII.

I'm vaguely aware of certain actions rendering accounts invalid, but if I were to, for instance, have a memory stick with US games and one with JPN games, would that allow me to swap memory sticks freely and play away?

    Thanks for any insight!

It's not specifically related to the memory stick, it's all down to the account that was used to buy the content. You can only associate one of your PSN accounts with your PSP at any one time, and you will only be able to play content downloaded by that account during that time.

So in your example, to play FF7 you'll need to associate your US account with the PSP (Can be done from the PSP or from the PS3). Then when you want to play the JP content, you'll need to associate the JP account. It's a bit of a pain, but it's manageable.

I see, that's not so bad then. How would I associate an account from the PS3? Just connect the PSP via USB cable and sign in to the required account? Just as a further question, say I associate my US account to play US games, when I turn off the PSP do I have to re-associate or would it remember the last association?

        Always remembers last association.

Its a bit fiddly and I hope that with the move to primarily digital distribution they will implement a system more in tune with how the PS3 handles multiple accounts.
