Best place for UK Pre-orders

Hi guys,

Just a quickie really.
Now I have my PS3 I can finally start buying PAL software again but I have no idea who to use for pre-orders anymore so my question is who's best to make sure I get the game on Launch day??

Looking back through the shipping thread I'm guessing it's Shopto or Game but anyone else to consider??

I'm especially looking to order the Batman: A/A collectors edition box so if anyone can help with a price lower than ?60 I'd be happy too

Where I live play.com have always sent my pre-orders out early, and i've recieved them all a day before or on launch. Oblivion came 2 days early.

I hardly ever use play for game pre orders but a lot for Cds. Lately they have been awful with Cds arriving 4/5 days after release. I'm seriously going off them.

I've had slow pre-orders from Play.com. A lot of time they don't allow any time for the delivery time from Jersey

Amazon have also got their act together lately with pre-orders. I've had a couple delivered on release day recently, they were dispatched the day before.

I tend to find a really early GAME order for stuff you are sure on is way to go, that way you don't get hit if the price goes up (as it did just recently with Wii Sports Resort), you get double reward points, and the orders always show up Thursday.

amazon do a pre-order price guarentee, although im not sure how it works they have given me back a fiver or two before.

GAME/Gameplay have never let me down and often I recieved pre-orders well before the Friday release.

Gameplay always deliver a day early, I use them reguarly.

I stay away from shopto at all costs.

Echo the comments about GAME.co.uk, never let me down with pre-orders. Been using them for years.

I find the Jersey based websites do take longer to get something to you, generally 1-2 extra days (although I have received one or two things quicker).
