Massive importance for me too. Aswell as making me love a game more it actually prevents me from playing some games. I don't get along with Bioshock at all but I have a feeling if it was the same game but 100years in the future on some space colony I would adore it. I'm very bias towards the future and the 80s which somehow seems futuristic to me.
