Where do you get your Japan Sony stuff from now?

Where do you get your JPN Sony games and consoles from now?

What made you choose them (apart from actually shipping to the UK...)

I use www.yesasia.com who included the shipping and tax in the price, the only real issue is that shipping times are slow, otherwise it is the online tat bazaar that is ebay.

I've found Gamechoiceclub.com and Yesasia.com (pricey though) to be pretty good, bought my JAP launch 60Gb PS3 from GCC with no hassle. I remember when MinGol5 came out and I paid for FedEx shipping on it from YA - it technically arrived the day it was shipped due to the time difference!

It's actually been a while since I imported anything Sony via a shop / website. The last few bits I've picked up (Biohazard 5, Ryu ga Gotoku 3, Time Crisis 4, Initial D) I've actually been in Tokyo and bought them off the shelf.

I think, unless it's something massive with no chance of a Euro release, I'll wait for the PAL version.

Weird that...I never would have done that in the past.

        For my PS2 stuff it's still Play-Asia.

Havent bought any Jpn PS3 software yet but expect I'll probably plump for an Ebay seller or Yesasia when I finally do find something that I need from Japan, but like Teddy at the moment there hasnt been anything on it that I cant wait for a PAL release on.

The following are all pretty good, in my experience:

            Buy Game 2
            DSC Links
            Super UFO

SuperUFO have the PS3 for $1100.... am I reading that right?

Edit: those must be old prices - they are out of stock now.

No, DCS are in Hong Kong. Been around for years (I used to get Dreamcast stuff from them when that was new) and used be called something like David's Console Shop.

Same, but not because of the pound. There's just been absolutely nothing of interest. GT5 Prologue or Parodius Portable were probably the last JP games I bought that I couldn't get from play-asia.

When there is something worth importing though - yesasia

A variety of places for me. Forums, eBay, P-A, Y-A, A guy I know who lives there. Most recently was my first ever purchase from VGI.
                              Kept you waiting, huh?
