Top 3 Japan-only imports for each current-gen console?

Hi all! I'm looking for some recommendations on the best three games to import from Japan for each console. I'm trying to keep the games either a bit quirky or as good examples of Japanese tastes (i.e. Railfan).

I'd prefer that the games have no scheduled Western release date too (hence no Afrika / Aquanaut's Holiday)

Any recommendations or criticisms on these choices are welcome! Ta!

Wii: Captain Rainbow / Taiko no Tatsujin Wii / Zero: Tsukihami no Kamen

PS3: Ryu ga Gotoku KENZAN! / Wangan Midnight / Railfan

    360: DeathSmiles / iDOLM@STER / Convenience Store 200X

DS: Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan, English of the Dead, GameCenter CX: Arino’s Challenge 2

PSP: Boku no Natsuyasumi 4 / Onore no Shinzuru Michi wo Yuke / Hatsune Miku: Project Diva

    Cheers

I'd have Wangan Midnight over Initial D: Extreme Stage all day long.
    Kept you waiting, huh?

Exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for FamiDude! Can't believe I forgot to mention the 3rd installment on the PS3...

I thought Wangan Midnight was utter ****e, unless of course you enjoy driving in a straight line for most of the track, I'd go for Initial D any day over that.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva? The only one coming to my mind that's not a collection or a port of an old game.

briareos: Cheers. Collections / ports would be welcome as long as they haven't seen a release in the West. What were you thinking of?

DS: Lode Runner, plus any of the Hudson Puzzle series (Nurikabe is my favourite, but Slitherlink is another obvious example).

Looking at the Japanese releases I have for currently systems, quite a lot of them have ended up coming out in the west. There seem to be fewer interesting Japan-only games at the moment. I do have a load of Japanese PSP downloads that aren't available over here, but they're all PS1/PC Engine rereleases.

Everything up to 1080p is supported, like RR7.

Personally I find Initial D to be extremely bland. It looks like a PS2 game, the handling is terrible, and it offers little in the way of a challenge.
Whilst Wangan isn't the greatest racer of all times by a very long way indeed, I enjoy it's story mode immensely, and you need at least some skill to progress through it.

None of the above games can touch Sega Rally Revo however. Perhaps it can be included as it is different to the western release in that it features rumble support, and obviously has "Revo" on the end of it's name.

Yea, I agree the wangan midnight on ps3 is pretty cack, not a port of the maximum tune arcade games unfortunately. Initial D is far superior.

The PCE Collection discs, Princess Crown...again, the first games coming in mind. I'm not particularly interested in the PSP library and all games I'm interested in have been ported at least in the US.
