Surprised at the FFCC: My Life As A Darklord score, sounded like a really creative TD game. Wonder if they had issues with the ultra difficulty + paid DLC to make it easier.

where are the flood of 'what, Batman is GotY why has it only got 8' protests ?

haven't got my copy of Edge yet so not read what they have to say but like I said in first play Arkum feels like an 8 to me, polished and atmospheric but nothing new.

I'm tied with Batman at the moment (on if it's an 8 or 9). It does have minor issues but I really enjoy games where the makers have a clear love for their subject matter.

They only come in a plastic bag, so there's nothing to stop it getting damaged. 9/10 mine come in great condition, but every now and again the top of the spine will take a knock, although that could be before it's posted. Maybe 1 in 25 times it'll be dog-eared, but I can't remember the last time.

My Edge is immaculate. It and gamestm usually arrive in great condition, but for some reason my gamestm copy is totally bashed to f**k this month. It's a great cover but the bottom left corner is all mangled, cut and bashed. The bottom of the spine is crushed and torn, exposing the bottom of every page. I can literally run my thumb across the pages underneath the spine like a sodding flip book. Opening the mag, there's so much damage that the pages won't open properly and feel like they're going to fall out, so badly savaged is the spine. It looks like someone has tried to eat it. The top of the spine is also skanked badly. At the bottom of the mag in the centre, there's a big tear going an inch up into the magazine. When I turn from page to page, the cut from one page sits in the cut of another, almost gluing the pages together. It's so skanked that turning a page makes a flapping noise like a wet sheet of thick packing plastic, the type of thing you cover a pile of bricks with overnight. If this copy was in a shop I wouldn't buy it.

Bought SC day of release it`s so brilliant, normally wait for reviews incase the game is a dud ala the Bouncer or Automodellista as I found in the past but could not resist takin the plunge. Graphics are top notch all the move from next gen vers inc n heaps of characters too. Has great depth with the Gaunlet mode and trails. Wanna read the review, nice to see another decent PSP game bring on GT: Mobile n DMC.

Everything I've heard about Wolfenstein says it's a 6/7 game. Most people say "it's actually not a bad game".

The 5 out of 10 is about right, its a very average and almost boring game that plays like it was made 10 years ago (and still wouldnt have been that good back then).
