Okamiden - DS

Okami sequel has been unveiled in the latest Famitsu.

It's a DS game in full 3D with heavy cel shading and it looks quite pretty. Proper screenshots should start appearing soon.

Oh man, i just died and gone to heaven. I'm absolutly obsessed with the original Okami, its my favourite game ever made. Can't wait for this, shame its on the DS though.

my head literally exploded with watercolour wolves and cherry blossoms when i read this**. okami is one of my favourite games ever, and one i never expected to see a sequal to so i am over the moon. must admit i am a little dissapointed to see it on the ds instead of the wii but i shouldnt complain. capcom are win.

Amazing scenes - I thought we were more likely to get Shenmue 3 than a sequel to Okami. Guess I will have to re-buy a DS soon then!

The names been around for a while but it was only revealed to be a DS game in the latest Famitsu. Plus with some searching, you can find scans with the screen shots.

Like others, I was a bit disappointed to hear this was on the ds rather than the ps3 or wii, but seeing it in motion has changed my mind. It looks gorgeous, and not that far removed from the original. Cannot wait.
