New internet channel and 'free' NES game

Check your Wii inbox, Nintendo offering free new internet channel + 500 points refund to anyone who paid for the original. These points can only be spent on a 'free' NES game, however. I'm guessing this will be Nintendo-only games.

Is it just me, or is the new Internet Channel actually decent with the (improved, I think) Flash capabilities?
