Also quoting 'King of Games' implies that is some kind of official subtitle, pretty bizarre.

Also makes the same mistake as the Xbox Psyvariar 2 review in overly emoting something that will be meaningless to someone who hasn't played, but that is a style issue I guess.

Keen on the game though.

That's a good question.

I think that ultimately you need to take all factors, including economic ones, into account with game reviews.

That said Infinity Gene is incredible and, while it would have been good value for money at ?30, it becomes an incredible bargain at ?3. In particular the random stage generator based on your personal music collection is deep varied and, on occasion, more challenging than the main game.

I know that doesn't really answer your question properly but I feel that it is and should be considered a 10 out of 10 game.

I completely agree with the score, that's for sure. This game has gotten an unbelievable amount of play time from me.

Every once in a while you suddenly remember you are playing on your phone on the way to work, you’ve missed your stop on the bus, the incredible soundtrack is all you can hear and your face is contorted into unsightly shapes while you weave your ship in an out of oncoming fire.

I hate this kind of thing in articles and reviews, it just makes me cringe. I understand that you love the game but focus on a critical analysis of the game itself rather than a description of your orgasm while playing it, if you can.

Then your instincts ignite the desire to destroy everything in sight. The feeling of euphoria rushes into your brain and you remember just why this genre is such a thrill and why it is so much fun. This is Space Invaders.

Chill out. It ain't ad copy.
